preparing students for what’s next
A collaboration with Seattle Public Schools’ Career Connected Learning Office, Open Science Quest is designed for students considering futures in science, health, and technology. The program introduces participants to research careers, laboratory environments, and the realities of working in science today.
Students earn career and technical education credit toward high school graduation, receive a $500 stipend, and leave with hands‑on experience that supports college, training, and career pathways.
Students learn by doing — from analyzing real data and running experiments to discussing ethics in modern science and presenting their work to peers and scientists.
