Andy is a DevOps Engineer within the Allen Institute for Cell Science IT department. Andy’s previous technical work has focused on automation, scalability, storage and virtualization across Linux and Windows operating systems. His former employers have ranged from academia to industry and startups to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to coming to the Allen Institute, he has recently worked on backend systems for mobile phone networking testing, maintained one of the highest traffic websites in the United States, and developed a system to generate dynamic test infrastructure for scale-out file systems. Andy holds an undergraduate degree in physics from Cornell University.
