Lesson Overview

This is the second of four lessons in the unit: Exploring Mitosis with the Allen Institute.

In this lesson, you will learn about how the Allen Institute for Cell Science studies human induced pluripotent stem cells and have the chance to look at hundreds of thousands of real cell images. Your instructor will prompt you during the lesson to begin working on your own cell catalog using the Deep Cell Zoom tool.

Lesson 2 Homework

To prepare for lesson 3, please watch the following two videos:

1. A quick video tour of the Allen Institute for Cell Science’s Lab Pipeline

2. A quick introductory video to the Allen Institute for Cell Science’s Visual Guide to Human Cells tool
