Computational biologist Ahmed Mahfouz, Ph.D., used data exclusively from the Allen Brain Atlas for his dissertation, and to explore a signature of autism risk genes. He and his colleagues at Delft University of Technology and Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands also developed the open-source data visualization tool BrainScope, which was built on our publicly available human brain data.
